A cemetery caretaker found several pounds of military-grade plastic explosives buried in a historic East Village\u00c2\u00a0boneyard, cops announced Monday.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They were looking into a possible connection to a bizarre note left with cops that was signed “Jesus,” and a chalked note on the sidewalk in front of the cemetery.<\/p>\n

There was no blasting cap or detonator found with the lethal munitions – formally known as Composition 4 – meaning there was no way to detonate the explosives, which had likely been there for years.<\/p>\n
