Yea, I saw this too. You would think that people, especially those with kids in school, might consider promoting a program for using locally grown food in schools. What is this federal government lunch program anyway? It sounds creepy in a post-Nazi, 1984ish sort of way. Shouldn’t kids be eating food they can identify?
We are what we eat. We are pink slime. It’s a slippery slope to soylent green.
I understand that ammonia is used to kill some of the germs crawling in this tissue paste.
So why then to people eat Chicken McFuggits?
Well, as I hear from the morons who eat this crap, “It tastes good.”
Eventually the chemical corporate wizards will learn how to make actual human shit taste good to those who eat McDookies-style food. It only a step removed from Soylent Green, so for now we’ll call it Soylent Brown.
