“Be All You Can Be”

March 12th, 2013

Released on March 24th, 2014 through Friesen Press:  Be All You Can Be

Be All You Can Be cover

“There is something sad about a person who blindly sacrifices his life ‘for his country,’ for he is unaware of the real issues. If a person can grasp the truth about war, it can’t help but color his thinking on such issues as draft dodging. The name draft dodger suggests the evasion of a just debt or obligation. In reality, a draft dodger is either a person who rejects military service on religious or moral grounds—or plainly doesn’t want to allow himself to be killed. Any of those reasons should be good enough, and I don’t think that he should be persecuted or prosecuted.

A person who is willing to sacrifice his life ‘for his country’ is merely a dupe in the profit game of the military-industrial complex. A man who has the courage to stand up against such twisted idealism and refuse to be sacrificed for profiteers is no coward. My opinion of the draft dodger differs from the opinion of many of my peers, but then, my generation is probably one of the biggest collections of fools on record.”

TSA: The dangerous stranger

April 28th, 2012

In this article the girl had just seen a movie about “stranger danger” before she got molested at the airport by TSA thugs. So now I have a cool title (or headline) and just need to write the article. When I was a kid, we had the dangerous stranger, but no TSA. It hadn’t been institutionalized yet.

I also enjoyed the fact that TSA has agents helping to boost the drug supply in America. Thanks guys!

TSA screeners charged in LA drug trafficking probe

And in a story becoming increasingly typical in Texas (accolades to Texas for that), The TSA has gotten itself exposed for the power perverts they are by grabbing a legislator’s “junk.” I guess he had to call it junk; he couldn’t say, “He grabbed my dick.”

I would have though, which is why I quit flying. I know I would get into trouble with TSA eventually because, aside from all the funny tricks you could pull, it’s just normal reactions to what they’re doing that would get me arrested. So I just quit dealing with them.

President Obama Signs Indefinite Detention Bill Into Law

January 1st, 2012

WASHINGTON – President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law today. The statute contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision.  While President Obama issued a signing statement saying he had “serious reservations” about the provisions, the statement only applies to how his administration would use the authorities granted by the NDAA, and would not affect how the law is interpreted by subsequent administrations.  The White House had threatened to veto an earlier version of the NDAA, but reversed course shortly before Congress voted on the final bill.

‘You can’t judge cops unless you’ve eaten pancakes with them first’ – George Sand

December 14th, 2011

Copblock posted a quote by Becky Akers on the Facebook page recently –

”We all need to recognize cops are the enemy. They’re not just the enemy of the black guy. They’re not just the enemy of Miguel who came across the border without a bureaucrats permission first. They are our enemy too, they will pick on us as well. When we allow government to prey on societies least liked memebers, it’s only a matter of time before they prey on us too” – Becky Akers

In response, one reader replied, “They are your neighbors and the person your standing in line with at the grocery store. Educate yourself and get to know them and we can all be on the same page. Have you ever taken a ride along with your local PD? Have you ever went to a pancake breakfast and learned what they talk about? Do you even know one personally? Didn’t think so. You are depending on a story or some third party blurb to make drastic decisions about your viewpoints are without taking the time to form your own opinions with real data imo. I have some of those things planned in the near future to learn about them. I don’t know enough yet to form a valid firm opinion but plan on learning and talking with them.”

Navajo Bumper Sticker on Homeland Security

June 17th, 2011

I found this bumper sticker on the Navajo Reservation after leaving Oraibi on the Hopi mesas heading west towards the Grand Canyon. As you may know, the US government thought it would be good “containment” policy to surround Hopiland with a rival tribe. Good thinking Uncle Spam! Anyway, we found this in a curio shop in town. I bought two, which seemed to amuse the shopkeeper. I think they’re hilarious.

Did an “aircraft swap” occur on 9/11? Pilots for 9/11 Truth

June 11th, 2011

According to RADES Radar, several aircraft targets seemingly go out of their way to converge and then ‘split-off’ from the aircraft reportedly used for the attacks on 9/11. Was an Aircraft swap occuring at these points?

Texas Republican rebukes TSA; Lt. Governor sides with feds

May 25th, 2011

As some of you know, I quit flying and announced the fact on Tom Sullivan’s national radio show. Channel 10 covered the “protest.” There were only three of us at the Sacramento International Airport, and I was not posturing. I’m completely serious.

I’ve already looked into booking passage on ocean freighters as an alternative to flying internationally: http://www.seatravelltd.co.uk/

The following piece from Brasscheck offers that the sexual humiliation TSA routinely inflicts on the public is similar to what Nazis did to Jews as they were being loaded onto trains. Mark G says that’s not true. I can see how that might be exaggerated, but I don’t think it’s surprising that the Nazis would check people for guns, and when drunk men get too close to women, weird things can happen. I’ll solicit a response from Mark G, whose opinions I respect. I kind of like to think the Nasties did it because if they didn’t, that would make TSA more debased than them.

In any case, I disdain the practices of TSA whether or not any of that is true.

The Texas legislature is apparently the only lawmaking body that has even tried to stand up to TSA in some meaningful way. We can only hope that the other wimpy states follow:

Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas
California Colorado Connecticut Delaware
Florida Georgia Hawaii Idaho
Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas
Kentucky Louisiana Maine Maryland
Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi
Missouri Montana Nebraska Nevada
New Hampshire New Jersey New Mexico New York
North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma
Oregon Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Carolina
South Dakota Tennessee See below Utah
Vermont Virginia Washington West Virginia
Wisconsin Wyoming

Shawn Hamilton

Texas Republican Dan Patrick had the brass balls to propose legislation that would make it a crime for TSA agents to sexually molest pasengers. Unfortunately, Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst intervened and saved the molesters from harm.

Jennifer Chou: Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are ‘terrorists’

April 18th, 2011

Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are ‘terrorists’

In this video clip, a few women of The View accuse the founders of We Won’t Fly, James Babb and George Donnelly of being terrorists. Specifically, Whoopi Goldberg says these two men are similar to terrorists because they are disrupting airport procedures. Hasselbeck goes on to say that Mr. Babb and Mr. Donelly should be put on a list for their protest of the recently instituted TSA procedures.

Jennifer Chou: TSA screening: no logic, no freedom, just fear, hatred and molestation

April 18th, 2011

Jennifer Chou

“TSA screening: no logic, no freedom, just fear, hatred and molestation”

There is seriously something wrong when the government demands its citizens be molested or to undergo x-raying and be viewed naked, in order to travel.

It’s hard for me to believe people are serious when they ask what the big deal is about being viewed naked on these porno scanners. Clearly, if people are generally comfortable being naked in front of complete strangers, it would not be illegal to be naked in almost all public places. And is it that hard to imagine that victims of rape or sexual assault might be extremely uncomfortable with strangers seeing them naked or groping them?
