“Young man with Asperger’s syndrome responds appropriately to police”

Reginald “Neli” Latson, a 19 year-old, sat in the grass outside the library and waited for it to open. Police allege that shortly after, some children purportedly were frightened and claimed there was a suspicious black male who had had a gun. A nearby school was put on lockdown, and a search ensued. Deputy Calverley then approached Latson, squeezed the front pocket of his sweatshirt and checked for a gun. No gun was found. The children questioned later also confirmed they never saw a gun. Calverly asked Latson for his name, and Latson refused. Calverly then grabbed Latson and attempted to arrest him. Latson struggled with Calverly, managed to flip him over, and caused Calverly’s head to hit the pavement. Latson hit Calverly several times and took his pepper spray.

Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are ‘terrorists’

In this video clip, a few women of The View accuse the founders of We Won’t Fly, James Babb and George Donnelly of being terrorists. Specifically, Whoopi Goldberg says these two men are similar to terrorists because they are disrupting airport procedures. Hasselbeck goes on to say that Mr. Babb and Mr. Donelly should be put on a list for their protest of the recently instituted TSA procedures.

“But their jobs are so hard!”

“This is something repeated ad nauseum by police apologists. According to Forbes, construction workers have the 10th most dangerous job in the country. Sanitation workers are at number 7, with 25.2 deaths per 100,000 workers. Farmers are at number 4, with 38.5 deaths per 100,000 workers, and fishing workers have the most dangerous job in America, with 200 deaths per 100,000 workers (see full list here).”

“What if the one you encounter is the bad apple?” by Jennifer Chou

“Certainly, the attitudes, thoughts and words of a few officers will not necessarily be representative of all police. Even so, it is important to keep in mind there are indeed deranged, corrupt, and morally bankrupt people in uniforms who carry guns. Not infrequently, they will publicly, and shamelessly display their degeneracy because they know that regardless, they will continue to be protected by the law, and revered by the public. Below are just a few recent examples.”
